This project shows how bold cabinet and appliance color choices can be coordinated to deliver a visually stunning statement. The large island not only provides preparation and seating areas, but also additional storage on the back side. Electrical receptacles are located out of view to create a seamless tile backsplash.

In these two kitchens, you will find classic shaker-inspired wood cabinets with 5-piece drawer fronts and doors. The first photo features cherry cabinets with a natural stain. Porcelain tile flooring and recessed LED lighting complete the new space. The second kitchen uses painted maple cabinets and contrasting floating shelves with embedded LED lighting to highlight the unique arabesque pattern tile backsplash and brushed bronze faucet. The countertop "garage" cabinet to the left of sink hides essential appliances.
