A kitchen is the heart, the hub, and the central gathering space of a home. When Diane and her husband moved into a 14-year-old house in Del Webb, a retirement community, she immediately knew that the kitchen would need a makeover in order to create a happy home for the next 15 years. Quite simply, it was dull and boring, and it lacked the modern elegance you see in today’s contemporary kitchens.
Deciding to transform their kitchen from drab to top-of-the-line, Diane did a quick online search for a local company and landed on Thomas Kitchen & Bath in Lebanon, TN. It only took one walk through our showroom for Diane to feel compelled to set a meeting that day with our designer, Amy Garcia.
A simple five-word request laid the foundation for Amy’s designs, “I want a happy kitchen.” After an initial consultation of their home, Amy presented a visual rendering of what their new kitchen would look like: happy. Diane commented, “It was nice because we had an opportunity to sit with Amy and pick things out with her, and she was receptive to our feedback.”
Like many homeowners, Diane had an idea of what she liked, but she needed a little help putting her ideas into reality. Our designer truly stepped up to the plate, according to Diane. “Amy somehow came up with a plan that we didn’t have to change much on. She has a real gift,” she gleamed with excitement.
Tim (the owner) and Amy presented a plan for the kitchen remodel, laying out what the couple should expect regarding time and budget. Once getting started, the entire kitchen was gutted, and everything was replaced.
Diane commented that the workers who gutted the kitchen and rebuilt it from the ground up were very trustworthy. She even noted how impressed she was with the Master Tiler, saying, “The tile work was perfect!”
Once the final touches were made, Diane and her husband couldn’t believe the transformation. She finally had a happy kitchen, specifically loving the huge new cabinets, automatic cabinet closure, new range and hood, and new quartz that brought the space to life.
Diane and her husband were so happy with their kitchen that they came back to Thomas Kitchen & Bath and had their Primary and Hall Bathrooms also done the following year. When asked what made our company a great option, she concluded, “Their professionalism, their customer service, and the finished product!”
